WARRINGTON’S popular annual Oktoberfest event has been postponed until next year due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Warrington, members have had to take the decision to postpone Oktoberfest 24 until 2021. A booking has been made with the Parr Hall for 14th to 16th October 2021 and they hope that all will have returned to normal and they can make up for losing out on Oktoberfest this year.

Thanking their many business supporters from the past, they hope businesses will recover rapidly and will be able to sponsor once again in 2021.
As Oktoberfest is their principal fund-raising event they will be looking to hold alternative events to be able to help local charities that otherwise would lose out on the monies that they are normally able to donate.
The club is continuing to every Monday evening at Warrington Sports Club, Walton Lea Road starting at 6.00 pm.
Meanwhile the club is on the look out for donations to their charity account so they can continue to support good causes. Donations can be made via Sort Code 20-91-48 and account number 30701254 andplease include your name so they can express their thanks.
