Thundery showers cause flash flooding at Lymm

THUNDERY showers have caused flash flooding in and around Lymm village with police advising motorists to avoid the area.

Oughtrington Lane near Lymm High School is flooded. Please avoid this area.
Burford Lane is also flooded where it goes under the canal. Please find an alternative route
Lymm Police advise there is a lot of standing water all around the village and to avoid any travel if possible.
