VIDEO: AN 11-year-old Lymm school girl has taught herself to dance during lockdown and choreographed a stunning rainbow themed video of her performance, as a thank you to the NHS.

Having type 1 diabetes means the NHS is very close to the the heart of Statham Primary School pupil Daisy, who has been teaching herself to dance in her local park.
Proud mum Helen Nurse said: “Over the last eight weeks Daisy has taught herself to dance – she has never had a dance lesson, but has loved teaching herself choreography and has used it as a way to express her emotions during this weird and crazy time. Whenever she has had a wobble she has gone off and ‘danced it out’
“She decided she wanted to create a ‘rainbow dance’ as an appreciation for the NHS.
“The NHS has been a lifeline to her over the last 10 years and our family are so grateful to the amazing organisation and people in it.”
Daisy taught herself in park space over the road from the famiy home on Massey Brook Lane (Lymm) where she has been dancing her feelings out!
Helen added: ” The NHS is close to her heart as they have been brilliant for her over the last 10 years since she was a baby and she has had some challenging health times, which was why she wanted to do this.”
