LYMM Police are stepping up patrols around Oughtrington Cricket Cub following evidence of anti-social behaviour, including drug taking.

During a visit to the area following reports of anti-social behaviour police discovered signs of drinking, drug taking and McDonald’s wrappers on the field behind the cricket club.
They now plan to carry out more patrols in the area.
Similar issues were reported at the weekend at Slitten Gorge and the playing field at Lymm High School.
Earlier today the local PCSO carried out a high visibility foot patrol around Lymm High School and moved a group of youths who were playing loud music on the grounds.
Officers also visited Slitten Gorge where they moved on a group of 10+ males and females who were all jumping in the Gorge!
