UPDATED: A male arrested at Lymm Dam on Sunday afternoon has now been charged by Warrington police with assault and using threatening behaviour.
He has been charged with allegations that he has used Foul and Abusive Language and then assaulted a male who tried to speak to him about it.
He has been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
Meanwhile Lymm Police have stepped up patrols in the village following on going reports of anti-social behaviour.
