LIVEWIRE’S Lifestyles Team is continuing to offer support for Warrington’s vulnerable residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
Since LiveWire’s facilities were closed to the public in March, the Lifestyles Team quickly adapted to change their ways of working in order to continue to be a valuable resource to the local community. The team have been hard at work supporting those residents in Warrington who fall into the Governments COVID-19 vulnerable categories.
LiveWire’s Lifestyles Team are telephoning and checking in with over 500 residents a week. It is hoped that through the efforts of the team, that this can help the town to contribute to the known challenges around social isolation, mental wellbeing and to support those residents most at risk. LiveWire hopes their contribution will help the NHS and social care to recover as quickly as possible.
As a Community Interest Company, LiveWire is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of the residents in the Borough. LiveWire continue to accept referrals from individuals and professionals during this time for support with stop smoking, weight management, and exercise on prescription.
