One more death at Warrington Hospital and 29 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

ONE more person has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, as the country saw its smallest increase in death toll in nearly two weeks.

This takes the death toll at Warrington Hospital to 53, with 29 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours taking the total to 437.
The figures do not include deaths at care homes.
The latest daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths in hospital in the last 24 hours was 596, the smallest increase in nearly a fortnight, taking the total number of hospital deaths to 16,060.
There were 5,850 new lab-confirmed UK cases taking the total to 120,067.
Meanwhile at the latest Downing Street briefing Education Secretary Gavin Williamson said no date could be set for when schools could reopen.
He praised parents for dealing with home-schooling during the COVID-19 lockdown.
