Two more deaths at Warrington Hospital as confirmed cases of COVID-19 climbs to 343

TWO more patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, with the total number of confirmed cases in the town increasing to 343.
The total number of people who have now sadly died at Warrington Hospital is 36, with 16 new confirmed cases of peope testing positive for COVID-19 from yesterday.
The Latest daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths in hospitals across the country is 778 with 5,914 new confirmed lab cases.
The total number of people testing postive across the UK has now reached 93,873 with the total number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths in hospital now totalling 12,107.
Latest fatalities across the country involved people aged between 34 and 102 – and 58 of them, aged between 38-96 had no known underlying health conditions.
Figures do not include deaths in care homes.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has called for care home figures to be included in the daily reporting figures, stating care homes are on the front line of the crisis.
At least four people have died at care homes in Warrington.
