Thelwall Morris Men zoom to first “outing”

0

DURING these unprecedented times in the midst of the COVID-19 Lockdown, Thelwall Morris Men used new technology to “Zoom” to their traditional first outing of the Year on Easter Monday.
The group tarditionally holds its first outing of the year on Easter Monday, so in a bid to keep their ancient tradition alive they  met up over zoom from their own living rooms, some wearing full costume!
They had been due to dance at the Rope and Anchor at Dunham town, then the Swan with 2 Nicks near Lymm and finally the Pickering Arms, their birthplace at Thelwall.
With all the events they traditionally perform at throughout the summer cancelled, they have alas no dates set for the rest of the year.
