Man arrested in possession of Taser and drugs after police execute Firearms Warrant

POLICE arrested a man in possession of a Taser and drugs after officers executed a Firearms Warrant at an address in the Poplars/Hulme area of Warrington.
The incident took place on Monday evening when officers executed a Firearms Warrant and took a male into custody for alleged Possession of a Taser and also Class B Drugs. He has been released under investigation and the Taser seized.

Meanwhile overnight, officers arrested two males in two separate Domestic Assaults – one in the Birchwood area and one in the Bewsey area.Both males were taken into custody.
In another incident today a woman was arrested by Town Centre Beat Team officers directly in front of the Golden Gates after allegedly verbally abusing officers – she was also arrested for an alleged Theft at Aldi nearby a short time earlier.
A male has also been arrested in Fearnhead area for alleged Breach of Restraining Order.
