“Rev Bev” to give Palm Sunday reading on line

RECTOR of Lymm the Rev Beverley Jameson will be giving a Palm Sunday bible reading on her YouTube channel tomorrow (Sunday).
Normally, the congregation at St Mary’s Parish Church, Lymm would walk from the church hall through the streets to the church, singing and waving their palm crosses.
This year, with all churches closed for the coronavirus crisis, no one will be walking.
But the “Rev Bev” has placed a video on her YouTube channel which shows how to make a palm cross from paper.
She said: “I’m not the best at crafts but even I can make a palm cross from paper. It will mean a great deal to Christian communities but it is also a great fun thing to do for children too.
“I hope people will join me for my Palm Sunday bible reading, reflections and prayers on YouTube from 10.00am and waving their paper crosses.”
