A man who racially abused a supermarket security guard and made gun and throat slitting gestures before being detained by police using CS spray, has been jailed for 19 weeks.
Mark Cunningham (34) of No Fixed Abode we arrested at Sainsbury’s on Thursday evening for Racially Aggravated Public Order and Police Assault and appeared in Warrington Court this morning.
He was arrested by police at Sainsbury’s on Church Street after police had been informed that he had been detained by staff for a minor theft.
However, he had also been making racist insults to the security guard and also made ‘gun and slitting throat gestures’ at him. He was later Charged and Remanded to go before the court this morning where was given a 19 week custodial sentence.
