A woman who made COVID-19 threats to police and neighbours at Orford and assaulted three officers has been jailed for 31 weeks.

Overnight, officers were called to an address in the Orford area following reports of a disturbance.

Ellie Morris (26) was arrested for Public Order and Three Assaults on Police officers – after making familiar threats involving Covid 19 directed at police officers and neighbours.

Today she was given a Custodial Sentence of 31 weeks for this and also a previous Police Assault that had been dealt with by means of a Community Order – which has now been revoked in favour of a spell in custody.
