Police use CS spray to detain man who racially abused staff and made gun gestures

WARRINGTON Police arrested a man earlier today for racially abusing staff at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in the town and then making gun gestures with his hands.

The male was arrested at Sainsbury’s on Church Street for alleged Racial Abuse to staff – and making ‘gun’ type gestures with his hands.

He is also alleged to have assaulted an officer. Captor Spray was deployed to bring him under control.

In another incident Officers of the Town Centre Beat Team arrested a male for a series of nine alleged thefts about the town – including theft of a television.
