WARRINGTON entrepreneur Sam Fox has launched a new voucher website to help small businesses through the Coronavirus crisis.
Sam, who helped launch the Warrington Buyers Club and also runs Warrington Mortgage Centre at Penketh said: “Warrington is renowned for its solidarity and creative spirit, especially in tough times.
“Across the town, pubs, clubs, restaurants and venues are closing their doors for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, a pandemic that challenges our can-do approach to overcoming anything that is put in front of us.
“Now is the time for Warrington to stand together and show support for our favourite venues, local businesses and friendly, unique personalities that serve us so well day in, day out.
“#WarringtonForward will be the conduit businesses and communities both need, to keep our town thriving.
“By buying a voucher -whether that be pre-paying a cup of coffee or meal out with the family- it is a simple, small gesture that will go a long way to help those who we often call on year-round for charitable causes, who now need our support in their endeavour to keep their doors open for us return sometime soon.”
Local residents can now support local businesses who sign up for the voucher scheme, by purchasing vouchers in advance to help keep local businesses ticking over through the pandemic.
