Bus interchange opening hours revised due to reduced services

0

OPENING hours at Warrington’s bus interchange in the town centre have been revised due to fewer services currently operating as a result of coronavirus.

Bus services across the region have been scaled back to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Some services, however, continue to operate to support key workers and vulnerable people who require travel for essential purposes.

The changes in service frequency mean the bus interchange will now be open:

· 6.30am – 7pm, Monday-Saturday

· 9am-6pm on Sundays and Public Holidays

These changes will come into effect from tomorrow, Friday 3 April.

Access for the services that depart outside of these times is available via the bus interchange ‘night gate’. This gate is accessible from Winwick Street, near Stand 1.

These changes will be in effect for the foreseeable future. For the most up-to-date information on Warrington’s response to coronavirus, including traffic and travel changes, please visit warrington.gov.uk/coronavirus
