Man arrested for spitting at supermarket staff and police

A man was arrested in Warrington earlier today after allegedly spitting at supermarket staff and police.

He was arrested for Public Order, Assault and Police Assault following the incident where he is alleged to have spat at staff at the Lidl supermarket Fennel Street and also alleged to have spat at a Police Sergeant.

Meanwhile in another incident a juvenile female was arrested in the Bewsey area after she was alleged to have caused damage at her parent’s address . She also allegedly made racist comments relating to COVID 19.

Upon arrival in custody it is also said she Assaulted a Detention Officer.

She is now in custody.
