Drunken man arrested after spitting at care worker

A drunken man was arrested by Warrington police after spitting at a care worker.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon at supported housing on Lovely Lane, Warrington.

The man was arested after allegedly spitting at a member of staff and for generally causing a drunken rumpus at the premises.

Meanwhille in another incident on Saturday afternoon police arrested a male driving a car at the M6 Croft interchange who was wanted by Scottish Police, after failing to appear in court for alleged traffic offences.
