FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a fire at a warehouse in Birchwood earlier today.
People inside the building were evacuated as a precaution as crews attended to a fire on the ground floor of a warehouse on Kelburn Court.
The fire is believed to have involved a machine.
A hose reel has been used to extinguish the fire and a large fan dispersed the smoke.
To ensure the fire was out, the building was checked using a thermal imaging camera.
