A RECTOR has launched her own YouTube channel so her congregation can still have a form of worship during the Coronavirus crisis.
The Rev Beverley Jameson, of St Mary’s Church, Lymm plans to post a “mini service” at 10am on Sundays.
She has already posted a video on the channel and the first mini service will be this Sunday, March 22 – Mothering Sunday.
Rev Jameson – affectionately known to most of her congregation as “The Rev Bev” said: “I have been praying about how we can still have a form of worship even though the church is closed.
“I have set up a YouTube channel. Open up YouTube and search ‘Rev Bev Jameson’ and you’ll find me.
“I will be posting videos of my reflections, prayers, information updates and, at 10am on Sundays, a short act of worship with a reflection on bible reading and prayers.
“This will be posted permanently, so can be viewed at any time.
“Those with the technology will be able to have a form of worship via this link.”
