AFTER a successful end to 2019, with a near sell-out Parr Hall concert, Warrington Male Voice Choir opens its 2020 concert season this Saturday, March 7, at St Oswald’s RC Church, Padgate Lane, Warrington WA1 3LB.

Starting at 8pm, the concert will see ‘competition winning’ Warrington Male Voice Choir, and Stockport based ‘award winning’ Werneth Concert Band presenting an evening of light music.

Tickets at £8 (£6 concession) will be available on the door.

The choir have attracted a number of new members over recent months and a number of them will be playing their part in Saturday’s concert.

This will be the choir’s first concert since its very successful Christmas Voices Christmas Brass, when it was not only a very near sell out, but also saw £900 collected for two very worthy causes. £450 went to Salvation Army Warrington to support the homeless in the town, with the other £450 going to the choir’s own Defibrillator Appeal.
