Challenge schools take on a challenge – for Sport Relief

TEN Warrington schools are taking part in a sponsored run to raise funds for Sport Relief.

The Challenge Academy Trust’s network of schools will join together to the money.

It will start with Bridgewater High School’s assistance headteacher Andy Roberts on March 13.

He will run from each TCAT school, being joined by staff and students from each school along the way.

He has planned a route, starting at Penketh South Primary school, travelling 14.1 miles school to school before arriving at Bridgewater High School – his final school.

He said: “This is a challenge we’re really excited about. We can’t wait to get our kit on and get active for Sport Relief. We hope to raise lots of money to help us take on poverty and injustice in the UK and across the world.”

Donations can be made on the ‘TCAT does Sport Relief’ Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tcat-does-sport-relief.

Anyone sees Andy along with TCAT staff and students on the day during the challenge, should make sure to give them a wave and some support!

The schools involved are: Penketh South Primary, Penketh High, Great Sankey Primary, Padgate Academy, Meadowside, Beamont , Priestley College, Sir Thomas Boteler CE High, Broomfields Junior and Bridgewater High.
