A woman was arrested by police in the Stockton Heath area of Warrington during the early hours of Saturday morning after allegedly making threats to stab another woman.
The woman is alleged to have made the threats to stab another during a dispute at 03.55. She was arrested on a charge of threatening behaviour.
In another incident a man was arrested for an alleged Assault on another male in the town centre at 0425.
It is alleged that a CCTV operator saw a male punch another and then run off – but he was caught by officers a short distance away, getting caught on Bridge Foot.
