WI tree planting ceremony at Birchwood

MEMBERS of Birchwood WI gathered at Birchwood Forest Park for a tree planting ceremony to mark the centenary of the Cheshire Federation of WIs.
The event also marked the 30th anniversary of Birchwood WI.
Those present included the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Wendy Johnson and her consort, chairman of Birchwood Town Council, Cllr Nigel Reeves, Mrs Jean Harding, ch airman of the Cheshire Federation of WIs, members of Birchwood WI, the park ranger and some members of the Friends of Birchwood Forest Park.
