Vandals blamed for fire in children’s play area

VANDALS set fire to two wheelie bins after dumping them in a children’s play area at Fearnhead, Warrington, last night.
The blaze was shortly after 8.15pm on land off Blackbrook Avenue.
Fire crews from Warrington used water to extinguish the fire, which had been started deliberately. They were at the scene for about 10 minutes.
