FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a trapped person following a two vehicle collision at Rixton at around 6pm on Saturday evening.
One fire engine from Lymm and one from Birchwood attended at the scene of the two-car collision on Manchester Road, Rixton, after reports that a person was trapped in one of the cars.
Crews helped to free the person from the car and made both vehicles safe.
They were in attendance for 40 minutes.
