Vandals start fire in play area

VANDALS set fire to play equipment in a park off Waywell Close, Cinnamon Brow, Warrington shortly before midnight.
A fire engine from Birchwood Fire Station went to the scene and firefighters used a water back pack to extinguish the blaze, which involved a swing. They were at the scene for about a quarter of an hour.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101.
