Care home celebrates “good” rating

A WARRINGTON care home has retained its “Good” rating awarded by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Three Bridges Nursing Home in Nook Lane, Latchford and was assessed across five categories – safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership, achieving “Good” ratings across all criteria.
Offering residential dementia care and short-term respite care, the home – part of the Orchard Care Homes’ group – promotes a person-centred approach to care that provides residents with independence, compassion and empathy and plays a vital role in the local community..
Home manager Val Marston said: “During the inspection, residents spoke highly of the care they received, describing the service as ‘a home from home’. This reflects the dedication and commitment from our staff to provide a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance.”
David Williams, operations director for Orchard Care Homes’ North West added: “I am very proud of the home for maintaining this prestigious rating, which recognises the hard work and commitment of Val and her team.”
