Car deliberately set on fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a car was deliberately set on fire in Back Forshaw Street, Warrington.

Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the car fire yesterday (Saturday) morning at 09.10.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 609602.

Firefighters were detained at the incident for one hour.
