Swanning around in Chester Road!

MOTORISTS queued at Warrington’s Chester Road swing bridge – but not for the usual reason.
A swan had decided it was a good place to cross Chester Road and Ellesmere Road during the rush hour and brought traffic to a standstill.
Police were quickly on the scene and coaxed the bird into the water.
The swan was no worse for its experience – and police won praise from passers-by for their patience and care.
