A 19-year-old man from Warrington appeared before magistrates in the town today charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place..
Owen Moores of Leicester Street, was arrested in Warrington yesterday.
The charges relate to an incident in Wellfield Street that occurred shortly after 1.15pm on Wednesday December 18 when a 20-year-old man from Warrington sustained a serious puncture wound. He was taken to hospital where his condition is now described as stable. Moores was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on January 17.
