THREE members of Latchford Albion’s squad have won international honours.
Adam Wood has been selected to represent the England NWML Lionhearts, when they undertake a tour of the Czech Republic next year.
The selection is reward for a number of years consistent and  loyal service to the club, which has also seen Adam this season receiving the Players Player, and Forward of the Year at Albion’s recent awards dinner.
The club has also informed that Charlie McCurrie and Matthew Nash have both been promoted to the England Community Lions squad, where they will link up with Albion half back Matty Ellis, who has recently represented the side against a strong New South Wales touring team.
Both players impressed during Lancashire’s recent successful tri-counties victories so the promotion is just reward for their consistent performances throughout the season, which has also seen Charlie received the Warrington Wolves Foundation under 18’s Man of Steel award.
Meanwhile, Albion are well into pre-season training,  with attendances the highest they have been for years, as the club look to build on a successful 2019.
Any players wishing to become part of the club can contact them via their social media pages, where they will he made welcome
