VIDEO: THE brand new Botanist bar and restaurant is all set to open and warrington-worldwide was given an exclusive tour of the botanical haven which will be the first site to open as part of the exciting Time Square development.

A number of pre-opening taster events are taking place this week, prior to the grand opening to the public next Monday, December 2nd.

Check out the video tour above.

The Botanist is a” beautiful botanical haven” with plant adorned walls, cosy seating nestled among the greenery and a stunning six metre waterfall, right in the heart of Warrington’s town centre!

The 10,000 sq ft restaurant has a capacity for 295 covers and a bar area with a capacity of 200, yet the space manages to feel cosy and intimate with its secret garden hideaway feel, complimented by the brand’s signature antique trinkets that bring pub-esque charm to the space.

Situated in Time Square, the Botanist Warrington is one of The New World Trading Company’s largest venues, showcasing some truly impressive decor. The two-story high waterfall cascading behind the main bar steals the show, framed by stunning botanical displays that add a unique twist to the stylish venue.

The plant life is mixed with industrial-inspired large black block frames that cover plaster and bare brick walls to create a stunning effect whilst showcasing the venue’s high ceilings. The Botanist will be welcoming parties both large and small, with private dining spaces for up to 10 for those wishing for a more intimate celebration.

Eamonn Cochrane from the Botanist Warrington said: “Each of our Botanists is as beautiful and unique as the next, but there really is something special about our newest venue in Warrington! The space brings together the best elements of the traditional pub; reinvented for today’s crowd with its botanical twist and breathtaking interiors. We are so excited to opening in Warrington, a vibrant town with so many brilliant things happening!”

Chris Hill, CEO at The New World Trading Company, commented: “As the first site to open to the public at Time Square, we are pleased The Botanist will forge the path for this exciting foodie, leisure and retail scheme. Along with the bar and restaurant offering, The Botanist will also offer guests live music and a range of brilliant masterclass experiences, making it a go-to destination for any occasion. Whether you’re celebrating something special or keeping it casual, we’re excited to welcome guests and make memories at The Botanist Warrington. We look forward to introducing the concept to Warrington, and welcoming neighbouring operators in the near future.”

There are 18 other Botanist restaurants across the UK, offering an eclectic selection of botanical cocktails, craft beers and ales, Champagne and wines. The management team has confirmed that they will be adding Warrington-based 3 Pugs Gin to its extensive drinks menu.

Local customers can enjoy a menu inspired by classic comforts and the flavour of home. The Botanist’s most popular dishes include their signature Hanging KebabsTM, Whole Baked Camembert, Vegan Moving Mountains® Burger and the Scotch Egg. During December, they are introducing a limited edition Turkey Hanging KebabTM with a maple and cranberry glaze, which will be served with roast potatoes, Chantenay carrots and sautéed spouts with bacon.

As well as great food and drinks, there will also be live music every night and from January, a number of masterclasses will be available for people to book on to including cocktail making, ale tasting and gin pairing masterclasses.

In the Spring there will be the opportunity for al fresco dining and barbecue foods with all tastes catered for with Vegan and Vegetarian options.

  1. I love to visit unusual places and this place is definitely worth a visit, although it does not look like those where I usually go. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why it impressed me. I prefer to go to unusual night clubs, I do not have much free time to spend it on planning leisure activities, therefore, I choose a place that I would like to go at https://www.londonnightguide.com/ , and they are reserving a place and organize leisure activities for me. It is very convenient, I am glad that I can use a such service.
