MEDIA students from schools across Warrington attended the Creative and Digital Expo at the Pyramid Centre.
The event, organized by The Pledge Partnership gave the youngsters the opportunity to hear first hand from a selection of speakers about their jobs in the industry and the training and steps they took to get there.
They also spoke of the range of opportunities in the creative and digital world that are out there for young people in the North West.
The number of jobs in this field were predicted to rise in the coming years.
After the presentation, learners had the chance to speak to a wide range of creative and digital companies to learn more and do some all-important networking.
One of the exhibitors, MDS Global, was demonstrating importance of skills such a teamwork, improving work by observing, listening and learning, and creative thinking by asking visitors to try a task.
The task was immensely popular as the prize for winners was a drone – and all four drones on offer went to youngsters from Birchwood High School.
A spokesperson for the school said: “They were a real credit to us and we are immensely proud of all who went on the trip.”
