Alley Cats who really can sing

0

THE Alley Cats Escape choir – a new choir in Lymm formed to enable people to “escape” through music – performed before an audience for the first time at The Limes retirement apartments.

Led by founder Helen Elliott, the choir received an enthusiastic welcome from residents.

Only time the choir had performed in public previously was at The Cross, in July, for the benefit of passers by.

The choir rehearses on Wednesday mornings in the Village Hall in Pepper Street and is for adults – aged 16-plus – who find singing an escape.

There are no auditions, no previous experience is needed and there is no need to be able to read music.

Helen can be contacted on 07935 704648.
