AFTER a blank weekend due to the weather Rylands FC welcome Grimsby Borough to Gorsey Lane in the second round of the Buidbase FA Vase on Saturday 2nd November, kick off 3pm.

Admission at Rylands Rec Club, WA2 7RZ is £4 Adults / £2 Concessions / U16 Free with match programmes on sale at £2. Food and drink will also be available from the Snack Shack on the ground.

Rylands were left without a game on Saturday due to the heavy rain which swept across the country wiping out the entire NWCFL Premier Division programme including the Blues visit to Padiham.

Currently third in the Northern Counties East Premier Division, Rylands Vase opponents Grimsby were also left kicking their heels as their scheduled Saturday was also postponed.

Rylands were scheduled to visit Skelmersdale United on Tuesday but that came has also fallen foul of the weekend weather. Skem play their home games at Prescot Cables ground, but it is being used to stage their FA Trophy tie postponed from Saturday.

The winners of Rylands Nike Player of the Month awards for August and September were announced this week with Callum Lees taking the August award and Andy Scarisbrick picking up the September award.
