WARRINGTON residents are being asked to provide some Christmas cheer for children and adults staying in hospital over the festive period.

Warrington & Halton Hospital has launched their largest ever Toy & Gift appeal this Christmas and is asking local residents to drop off an unwrapped gift to the value of £5 at any of the following drop off points:-
• Warrington or Halton hospitals main cash office WA5 1QG & WA7 2DA
• Holdcroft Honda Showroom, Warrington WA5 1GG (look for the Christmas Car)
• Centric Lighting, Warrington WA5 0JU

For the children & adults staying in hospital over the festive period it can be a sad and worrying time for them all and their families.

Each year the Warrington & Halton Hospitals’ Charity tries to ensure that all children and adult patients receive a gift on the build up to Christmas and especially on Christmas day to make their stay a little brighter.

This year they are hoping to receive more gifts than ever and are asking for unwrapped presents to the value of £5 be dropped at one of the Warrington donation stations (listed above).

Companies or individuals can help by dropping off gifts suitable from birth to 18 years old up until December 20.

Helen Higginson, Warrington & Halton Hospitals’ Charity Fundraising Manager said: “We are really grateful to have more businesses than ever supporting us across the region by hosting donation stations. This appeal means so much to the children who receive a gift on Christmas Day as a result of local people’s kindness.”
