PUNK rock royalty is making its way to Warrington’s Parr Hall next autumn with a visit from the one and only Johnny Rotten!

John Lydon – more commonly known as Johnny Rotten – is recognised across the globe as the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols and post-punk band Public Image Ltd.

He has been hailed by critics as the man who changed the face of music for good and sparked a cultural revolution.

During his remarkable years in Public Image Ltd, John consistently pushed the boundaries of the music industry and still continues to challenge and thrive to this day.

Now, the music legend is hitting the road on a one-off tour, in which he will talk all about his extraordinary career and wider life story.

This is the first time John has embarked on a spoken-word tour, which also coincides with the launch of his new book I Could be Wrong, I Could Be Right,  giving fans the chance to ask questions and hear his stories up close and personal.

John – in true Johnny Rotten form – said: “I could be shit. I could be shite. I’m left-handed.”

The Sex Pistols star will be in Warrington l on Thursday November 19 next year.

Fans can also enjoy front-row seats and a goodie-bag with a VIP ticket or even go the extra mile with a super VIP ticket, which buys you a pre-show meet and greet, as well as a photo and autograph opportunity.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday November 1. Visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org or call Box Office on 01925 442345.
