Overnight arson attack on caravan and horse box

TWO fire engines were called out to deal with an overnight arson attack at Woolston, Warrington.
The fire involved a caravan and a horse box on land at New Cut Lane.
Fire engines from Warrington and Lymm were sent to the scene yesterday afternoon although the fire is believed to have been started overnight.
They used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and damped the area down using a hose reel jet. They spent about half-an-hour at the scene.
The fire was started deliberately and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or give details at https://www.cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries
In another incident, firefighters from Birchwood were call to Edgars Drive, Fearnhead where a wheelie bin at the side of a house had been set on fire and had damaged the doorway and brickwork. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
