ARSONISTS struck at Glazebrook, Warrington setting alight to a caravan parked alongside a disused country club in Bank Street.
Fire engines from Birchwood and Salford went to the scene shortly after 4pm yesterday and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
They gained entry to the disused building, inspecting both the interior and the exterior and used a thermal imaging caravan to ensure it was safe. They were at the scene for about an hour.
They then used an extension lander and specialist tools to secure the building.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
