Experts to probe garage blaze

FIRE investigators are to probe a blaze which broke out in a garage adjoining a school at Warrington today.
The fire was in Long Lane, Orford shortly after 12 noon.
Fire engines from Warrington and Penketh went to the scene and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames with a hose reel jet.
They then checked to adjoining garages to see if the fire had spread, but they had not been affected.
Crews then damped down the whole area and emptied the contents of the garage.
The fire service said the circumstances of the fire would be investigated.
