Raiders break into shop through roof

TWO men broke into a convenience store at Warrington in the early hours of the morning and stole cash from an ATM machine..
The pair got into the Nisa Local on Glover Road, Locking Stumps, through the road at around 3.25am.
Once inside the building the pair used an angle grinder to access the cash machine and left the scene at around 4.10am.
Detective Constable Ian Morris, from Warrington CID, said: “This was a serious incident and we are committed to doing all that we can to trace the people responsible and bring them to justice.”
“The investigation is currently in its early stages and we’re following a number of lines of enquiry, including CCTV and forensics.
“As part of the investigation I want to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Glover Road area between 3.15am and 4.30am yestereday.
“The same goes for any motorists who drove past the store around the time of the incident and believes they may have captured the offenders on their dashcams.
“I urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to call the team here at Warrington on 101, quoting IML 529160.”
