TWO members of Warrington Athletic Club took part in the England Masters Inter Area Cross Country at Bury St Edmunds.
Colin Bishop finished in 22nd place overall in the eight kilometres race for the Over-35 to Over 60 age group in 30 minutes and 55 seconds. Dave Norman was 26th in 31 minutes and 36.
This placed them 4th and 5th in the Over 55 age group.
Another club member, David Gill, from Grappenhall, won the Vet Age 60 group, finishing 32 overall in the Kirkby Melers Safara 10-miles road race around Knowsley Safari Park, in a field of 1,500 runners and with a time of 66 minutes 44 seconds.
