WARRINGTON Town face a trip to Northamptonshire-based Brackley Town in the next round of the FA Cup.

After despatching of FC United 2-1 at the weekend, the Yellows are now just two wins away from the first round proper.

Brackley play in National League North, a level above the Yellows, and finished third in the division in each of the past two seasons, missing out on promotion via the play-offs.

They won at Wembley in 2018, scooping the FA Trophy, while they reached the FA Cup second round proper in 2013/14 and 2016/17.

The Saints play at the 3,500-capacity St James’ Park, some 132 miles from Cantilever Park.

This season, they sit in the play-off places in National League North in seventh, while they cruised past Cinderford 4-0 in the FA Cup second qualifying round on Saturday.

The game will take place on Saturday October 5.
