THE annual inauguration evening for pupils at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School, Warrington took place at St Elphin’s Parish Church.
New Year 7 pupils and their parents were welcomed to the school and also attending were primary school teachers and new high school teachers.
Boteler assistant headteacher Anna Mawby said: “It was wonderful to listen to such powerful words about each student from their Year 6 teacher and headteacher.
“The students were a credit to their families and to their primary schools. We are looking forward to seeing their progression and successes over the next five years.”
Boteler is holding an open evening on Wednesday, from 5-8pm.
