Tip to close for two days for improvement work

WARRINGTON’S Gatewarth Community Recycling Centre (CRC) is to close for two days while the final stage of improvement works takes place.
Resurfacing works will be carried out on Barnard Street, directly outside the CRC, later this month.
In order for the works to be undertaken safely and efficiently it will be required to close the facility, but this will only be for two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday September 24 and 25.
This type of work is weather dependant, and any changes to these dates will be notified as early as possible.
In order to compensate for the short-term closure of Gatewarth CRC, Woolston CRC will be open for extended hours – from 8am to 6pm – on the same day days. There may, therefore, be a small increase in use of this site for this short time period.
