Fencing damaged as fire breaks out at Appleton

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Appleton, Warrington today after reports of a fire on open land.
They discovered a blaze involving pallets and fencing panels in Arley Road had spread to nearby bushes.
The crew, from Birchwood, extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and then damped down the area affected to make it safe.
They were at the scene for more than half-an-hour
