Vandals blamed for woodland blaze

VANDALS started a fire in woodland at Birchwood, Warrington last night.
Firefighters were called to the scene, off Brock Road, at about 5.45 and found a shopping trolley stuffed with rubbish and well alight.
They used water to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for about 20 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
