Walking Football team set to return to Bolton Arena

CULCHETH Walking Football team are set to return to Bolton Arena at the end of this month following two recent successful visits.

The Culcheth team have been twice to Bolton Arena in recent weeks. On August 17th two of the teams played against Bolton opposition which ended in equal terms.

Then on Sunday 1st September they were invited to send the team to help with the training of new referees for the walking football tournaments. The potential refs course was supervised and assessed by the Manchester F. A.

The Culcheth team played five games, each one overseen by a trainee referee who was being assessed on the course.

Culcheth play well against Bolton opposition, wining two games ,losing two and drawing one. Each game was of ten to fifteen minutes and all played in a friendly competitive spirit.

Their next tournament is scheduled for September 29th again at Bolton Arena.

Culcheth WF team train every Tuesday at Culcheth High School 7pm to 8pm. All over fifties welcome.
