Witnesses sought following wheelie bin fire

WITNESSES are being sought following a suspected arson attack involving a wheelie bin on Poplars Avenue, Warrington, last night.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a wheelie bin fire on Poplars Avenue, Warrington, shortly before 10pm on Monday evening.

The crew were detained at the scene for around 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, quoting IML 503366. Information can also be passed anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
